Let It Snow!

Baby Noah,

Today you experienced snow! At first, you didn't seem to have an opinion one way or the other, but after you saw Brooks running around in it your curiousity kicked in. You rolled around a bit and even did a face plant into a cold pile of snow. You didn't cry when that happened and seemed to like the feel of it on your lips!

What fun for Daddy and I to watch your little mind and body discover new things!

Love you,

Mommy

Growing Up!

Dear Noah,

It's been way too long since I've written to you and you are now 9 months old! I really can't believe it...at times it has seemed we would never get past some obstacle (getting all four top teeth at once) and at times it has seemed like the days are flying by and before you know it you have mastered so many big boy things (crawling, pulling up on the toilet, feeding yourself).

You're a very big guy...so many people comment on it and seem to think you're going to be a linebacker (what's that?)! You are wearing 18-24 month clothes and over Thanksgiving I was reminded several times by Gramma Naher and Gramma Marcia that your clothes were too small for you....I guess I was trying to cram you into 12-18 month stuff....yes, I'm cheap and like to get our full use out of the clothes cousin Carter has let you borrow!

Thanksgiving was interesting this year. We are so thankful for you, but I do have to say that traveling with you was somewhat challenging. You LOVED playing with your cousins, but you HATED sleeping in the new environments. You decided you would rather sit up all night and talk to us...then, on the last night you decided to sit up all night and scream at us! Christmas will be interesting too. We are doing the same thing....going to Columbia and then to KC.

We've had fun taking you new places around St. Louis. I took you to a place called Monkey Joe's where you loved jumping and rolling around in a big blow up bouncy thing! And, we took you to Missouri Botanical Gardens Christmas display where you loved watching the trains, looking at the lights, and more importantly, people watching!

I promise to write to you a few more times this month!

Love you,

Mommy
